I was hesitant to purchase since I already have one that looks like it (kiiboom version) but I’m glad I did. This keyboard is one of my favorites!!
I’m very happy with this keyboard and the experience with this seller. The CK68 is the perfect size, in my opinion. Fun to use, compact, and just heavy enough to let you know it’s made well. The sound is also really satisfying - deep sound profile, acrylic, crisp, and actually kind of reminiscent of cracking a thin layer of ice.
The novelty keycaps are cute.
The star of the show, and the thing everyone talks about with this keyboard: the RGB.
I downloaded the driver, and have been experimenting with the program. Although it’s a translated program and not exactly user friendly for a native English-speaker, there are helpful tutorial videos provided, and I figured it out. One complaint I have is that when searching for a particular user-made color effect, it’s difficult to find, and slow to load. Unless you speak and type in Mandarin/whichever dialect/language they use, you will have a hard time finding that cool effect you saw an influencer advertise on TikTok or Instagram. Also, there are thousands of them listed in the order they were created and uploaded, so, difficult to sort or browse through.
Another complaint I have is that there is no shortcut on the keyboard for changing custom light options (that I’m aware of). If you want to change the custom lighting, you have to go into the driver and manually select it. (If you want to switch between the standard/as-is/factory RGB effects, the keyboard shortcut is FN + INS.)
I’m giving this keyboard 5 out of 5 stars because I really love it despite the complaints, and I’d recommend it to others.
